More work with DST and Tony's Kingdom of Comics! This time we hit Town and Country Bowling, which was hosting a special night where all games played resulted in donations to a charity for Foster Kids.

DST and Tony's Kingdom of Comics setup a great event for SciFi night with the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. 100-degree weather didn't stop us from making the troop and Darth Vader was honored by throwing out the first pitch!

This year we had our best turn-out ever for the parade! We were joined by Darkside Troopers and Cort and Fatboy of the Cort and Fatboy show 7-midnight on 101.1 KUFO(.com). We were at the end of the parade this year, entry #31, which was hard, as this was also the hottest day we'd ever done the parade. We all eventually made it back to "headquarters," doused ourselves in cold water, and eventually ended up at Shari's for a couple of hours, where we celebrated Rick and Susan's 22nd anniversary and Christy's birthday. Thanks to everyone who made this a great event!

We had a great time visiting the kids and staff at Shriner's hospital for children. Thanks to the Pirates of Portlandia, volunteer Kent and everyone who made this a fun night!
